You may wonder why I chose such an odd sounding title for my blog, but there are a couple of good reasons for this specific title…

1. It describes me rather well. I am in fact mostly harmless. I am generally considered a nice bloke who has no intention of harming anyone.
2. It’s the title of one of the books in the 5-part trilogy by Douglas Adams ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ – a series I started reading when I was terribly young, but didn’t finish until probably about 5 -6 years ago when I finally took on the final chapter, ‘Mostly Harmless’.
3. Quoting the same series, the phrase ‘Mostly harmless’ is also the short and concise description of our own Planet Earth as it appears in the fictitious book also named ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’.
